New-construction home inspections in Fulshear
A new-home purchase involves more than a closing date. Brad Leland helps Fulshear buyers plan an independent inspection around the property’s actual location, the builder’s schedule and the work that will be visible at each stage.
One inspector. Personal attention.
From your first conversation to the final report, you work directly with Brad. He personally confirms inspection readiness, access, pricing and scheduling.

Meet Brad Leland — your inspector from the first conversation to the final report.
Start with the address and the builder’s next milestone.
A Fulshear mailing address does not necessarily mean a property is inside Fulshear’s city limits. Use the full property address when planning your inspection rather than relying only on a subdivision or marketing name.
When you call or text Brad, have the street address, approximate square footage, builder or site contact, and the next construction milestone available. Ask the builder about outside-inspector registration, insurance paperwork and access requirements so those details can be discussed before the visit.
Building from the foundation up? Protect the inspection windows.
For a foundation pre-pour inspection, confirm the builder’s anticipated concrete-pour date and when accessible preparation will be ready to examine. Tell Brad about the access requirements before concrete placement is scheduled. This inspection documents visible and accessible preparation; it is not an engineering certification.
A frame and pre-sheetrock inspection takes place while framing and applicable rough-in work remain visible, before insulation and drywall conceal them. Check the current schedule with the builder, and contact Brad promptly if that schedule changes. An estimated completion date alone does not establish a phase-inspection appointment.
If you are deciding between visits, compare the construction inspection stages to understand what each can show. A final inspection cannot recreate the visibility available before concrete or drywall was installed.
Buying a home close to completion? Plan the final before closing.
Arrange the new-construction final inspection preferably before the final walkthrough and closing, allowing time to read the report and discuss documented concerns with the builder. The home should be substantially complete, with utilities connected and installed systems ready to operate whenever possible.
If work is unfinished or an area is inaccessible, the inspection may be limited. Discuss the actual readiness of the home with Brad rather than assuming that a scheduled closing means every component can be inspected. The report documents conditions observed at the visit; it does not guarantee repairs or reveal concealed conditions.
Already moved into your Fulshear home?
Check your actual builder-warranty deadline before choosing a date for an 11-month builder warranty inspection. Keep a list of concerns you have noticed since moving in so you can discuss them with Brad. The inspection can document visible issues for your conversation with the builder, but warranty terms and repair decisions are not determined by the inspection.
What does a new-construction inspection cost in Fulshear?
Use our instant inspection fee calculator to estimate the fee for your home's square footage, inspection stage and applicable options. The calculator uses Brad's current approved pricing, including the 10% Heroes Discount when eligible. The result is an estimate; Brad personally confirms the scope, final price and appointment.
No personal information is required to obtain an estimate. Using the calculator does not submit an inspection request or reserve a date.
